Childhood Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Tee

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know that Childhood Cancer is the #1 disease killer of children? This an incredibly important and worthy cause and it has also directly impacted a precious family in our community. My son's sweet friend, Thomas, has battled Neuroblastoma since 2018 and undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and radiation. Thankfully he has had clear scans the last couple of years and is a thriving, 16-year-old, high school junior now! Thomas' Mom, Julie, told me that Jeremiah 29:11 is the verse that their family has clung to during Thomas's fight against cancer. It has a been comfort to them in their greatest battle. From now through September 30, 2024, a portion of the sale of this shirt will be donated to Children's! We know we can't cure childhood cancer alone, but firmly believe that every donation makes a difference. Thomas has spent more than his share of time in Children's Hospital and he and his family can tell you first hand how much monetary and physical donations mean to the children there fighting for their lives. Thomas is going back for scans in early October and we want to send a check with him to donate to Children's of Alabama in Birmingham.
